Team Leader

Description of post: The overall objective of the project is to foster greater mutual understanding between the EU and Turkey by increasing intercultural dialogue.

Qualifications and skills:

- Have a university bachelor degree in the field of social sciences. In the absence of a formal degree, equivalent professional experience of a minimum 15 years
- Full computer literacy in MS Office and Internet applications
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Turkish will be an asset

General professional experience:

- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Experience as a team leader in an EU-funded project will be an asset

Specific professional experience:

- Proven experience in the management of at least 2 technical assistance projects in the field of culture and/or museums
- Proven experience in organization of seminars and/or conferences and/or international meetings
- Proven experience in media sector and/or public relations
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in art and/or culture NGOs and/or museums will be an asset

Grant Scheme Expert

Description of post: The overall objective of the project is to foster greater mutual understanding between the EU and Turkey by increasing intercultural dialogue.

Qualifications and skills:

- Have a university bachelor degree in relevant fields of social sciences. In the absence of a formal degree, equivalent professional experience of a minimum 10 years
- Full computer literacy in MS Office and Internet applications
- Good command of written and spoken English

General professional experience:

- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
- Experience as a key expert in an EU-funded grant project will be an asset

Specific professional experience:

- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in implementing projects in the social field, preferably in cultural and/or artistic issues and/or museums
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the EU funded grant projects

The aim of the Contract is to enable Ministry of Culture and Tourism at the central and regional levels to adequately implement two grant schemes (a grant scheme for museums and a grant scheme for culture and arts) effectively and timely manner and to provide trainings to the grant beneficiaries on grant implementation to increase the level of awareness on intercultural dialogue and enhance cultural cooperation between EU and Turkey.
