PROFILE:

Education:
• University degree in the field of business administration, economics, international trade or similar

Qualifications and skills:
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and French
• Good communication and facilitation skills in multi-stakeholder discussions.
• Knowledge/experience of Certification and Standards
• Customer oriented mindset

General professional experience:
• The expert should have 10 years of experience Standards and Certification management in ACP Countries
• Knowledge of and thorough understanding of the socio-economic development context of ACP Countries
• Specific understanding of the operations of IOs and their role in championing private sector issues
• Familiarity with private sector networks, associations or organizations

Specific professional experience:
• Experience in writing and implementing standards
• The expert(s) should master English and French languages.



FRENCH Speaking ICT Expert:

The expert will work along the capacity building expert on training sites.

PROFILE:

Education:
• University degree in the field of business administration, computer science or information systems or equivalent experience.

Qualifications and skills
• The expert should have at least 10 years experience in software development and systems architecture, with an extensive role of business analyst, and have the ability to formulate concepts.
• Communication of technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Communication of business information to a technical audience.
• Management of organizational changes.

General professional experience:
• The expert should have a strong foundation in business processes re- engineering.
• The expert must have the ability to negotiate and mediate.
• The expert should be able to deliver informative and well-organized presentations.

Specific professional experience:
• The expert should have experience in the areas of community portals.
• The expert should have an extensive understanding of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet architecture.
• The expert should have an extensive understanding of how web-based systems interface with each other.
